Earlier I had compiled a list of best 20 Non IIT Engineering Colleges of India so I felt to compiler a similar list for Medical Colleges of India too. So here are the best Indian Medical Colleges/Institutes. If you don't agree with the list than please drop you message in the comment box as I would really like to know why do you think otherwise.
1.All India Institute of Medical Science, Delhi - Undoubtedly the leader in ranking. AIIMS was established in 1956, and since then it has been a premiere Hospital and research and development institution. The Institute has comprehensive facilities for teaching, research and patient-care. AIIMS have more than twenty clinical departments and four super specialty centers. Burn cases, dog-bite cases and patients suffering from infectious diseases are not entertained in the AIIMS Hospital. In order to obtain a visa the first and foremost requirement is to have a valid passport, which is issued by Government of India from Passport Offices. To obtain a passport, you can apply to any passport office in or near your city. It can take at least one month for you to get the passport. If you want it fast, use express method which will cost you Rs 2000 (as compared to 1k for regular passport application)
Once you have a valid passport, you are eligible to obtain a Visa to travel abroad.

There was a time not so long ago when in India, flying by plane was considered to by luxury but with Air Deccan's who opened the doors for cheap air tickets in India, everything has changed. They may not provide best of service but they are alright for there price. There are 5-6 cheap airlines working in India currently, IndiaGo Air, Air Deccan, GoAir, SpiceJet, AllianceAir and Paramount. Many of them only work on selected routes though.
