Well on 16th of May, Indian election results will be out and earlier predictions are saying that its going to be hanged parliament, lets see how it goes. I don't mind government of UPA or NDA as long as left partis are not part of it which seems to have their own agenda of trying to stop everything.

Also with fragmented result and regional parties taking the main seat, there are chances of mid term polls which is unacceptable. I am a strong believer in having polls in only five years only. Lets see how it goes tomorrow :)

Sanjeev Nunda, grandson of former navy chief SM nanda and son of arms dealer suresh nanda has been sentenced for 5 years in jail over high profile hit and run BMW case.

On 10th January 1999, Sanjeev Nanda, in drunken state, ran over 6 people including 3 policemen. All 6 died on the spot. Sanjeev nanda was driving his sisters BMW and soon after incident ran away. He and his friend Rajeev Gupta were caught by Delhi Police on 11th of january in a farm house destroying the evidence.

Maruti Udhyog who is under pressure after heavy hype of Tata nano and its dropping market ing small segment cars will be launching a small car named "A-Star" (Funny name?) with a new engine model. Maruti Alto will also be equipped with this new engine.

As per Maruti spokesperson, they are planning to launch another similar small car "Splash" in the next year.

Government is seriously thinking of banning all kind of exit and opinion polls ahead of assembly election is six states as it feels such polls affects peoples opinion, specially if the polling is done in phases.

Its been a very long time since TV channels are showing exit polls (almost everyone has its own) as they are quiet a crowd puller even though historically the predictions made by such exit polls have far from being correct.

Google finally did something which was long awaited from them, they launched there own Browser named Chrome, You can download chrome from here

Uptil now, google had heavily promoted Firefox to hit at rival microsoft browser Internet explorer which is still used by the majority of net users thanks to it being pre bundled with Microsoft windows. Now Google which already owns some of the biggest web properties on net like youtube and blogger other than the world's most used search engine, with Chrome is looking to take more control of user web browsing.

Vijay Mallya is not very happy with 11:30 deadline put by authorities on party and beer loving bangaloreans. Yesterday while launching first flight of Kingfisher airways, Mallya showed his displeasure and said it doesn't make lot of sense when delhi and kolkata can have night life till 2am

He also said that problems with law and orders also do not make lot of sense when in other countries like spain, people party all night. Mallya is open to support for any "dharna" and protest against such rule.

One of world's as well as India's Most surfed website IMDB.com has changed its layout and has gone more web 2.0 though this looks to be an ongoing changes made by IMDB to make the site more usable.

IMDB.com is worlds biggest resource on movies (including hindi and regional movies) as well as cast information. From last year onwards, they have added various other segments like FAQ and spoilers in movie pages.

From 1st of September, the cost of aviation turbine fuel (ATF) will be reduced by 16% which should come as a welcome relief for air travelers across India. ATF price in Delhi are reduced by Rs.11k a kilolitre to around Rs. 59,650 per kl for domestic carriers. In Mumbai, the cost of jet fuel is Rs.61,834 per kl.

Due to continuous increase in Jet fuel since January this year because of high oil prices, domestic Airlines like jetlite in India were in severe pressure to hike the prices of flights which would had dented the Airline industry even more.

Apple CEO Steve Jobs was reported death by New York based bloomberg website creating a sort of chaos in Tech world. There were reports coming for years now about deteriating health of Steve jobs. Before the world would had reacted, bloomberg responded that it was a mistake that they published a orbituary of steve jobs.

The 17 page obituary wasn't meant to be publish and the news is certainly not true. Its just that Most of the newspaper keeps the obituary of prominent people ready in advance for internal records and by mistake it got published. Its interesting to note that since his diagnosis with Pancreatic cancer in 2003, there have been questions asked about steve jobs health regularly though steve has always kept silence on his health.

With so much hype on the launch of iPhones in India, it has been reported that both Airtel and vodafone, were not able to sell more than 1500 iPhones in the first week of its launching in India.

The primary reason for this is obviously a very high price of Rs 31,000 of iPhones in India and the fact that its going to come down heavily during diwali season.
