I may be wrong in generalizing it a little but I have full right to do so and to get angry on HDFC people who are managing it. I had applied for my HDFC Credit card over 2 months back and nothing has happened so far. The person who is managing Credit Card section of HDFC, Hyderabad branch is in how own world and is still working the mode of indian bank employees used to work in 80's.
Everytime when I calls him, he makes some absurd reasons like on this saturday I will come or send some one or your form is still processing but nothing happens. I was told that HDFC has to be the shoddiest bank among all and don't go for them but still since it was already having my bank account there, I thought of giving them a try. So much for a try...

Normally it takes 3 weeks for them to dispatch the card but it can take upto 6 weeks as well (as in my case) and since I don't live on the address where the card was dispatched, it was important for me to know when will I get it. So that service to know your Pan card did come handy. It is saying the card has been dispatched on 12th Sept, so it should have arrived by now. I will update this post when I will get my PAN card

There was a time not so long ago when in India, flying by plane was considered to by luxury but with Air Deccan's who opened the doors for cheap air tickets in India, everything has changed. They may not provide best of service but they are alright for there price. There are 5-6 cheap airlines working in India currently, IndiaGo Air, Air Deccan, GoAir, SpiceJet, AllianceAir and Paramount. Many of them only work on selected routes though. Here is a much more detailed review of each of them. I hope you will find it informative.
INDIGO AIR : Indigo air is a domestic low cost airline. It offers economical services to the passengers. Seats are comfortable, the staff is good. Services offered are good. I am covering a series of Howto's on India, and after How to buy Online Shares in India, Best Broadband Providers in India, Which Motorcycle to buy this is the next article on How to make Online Railway Reservation in India. Online reservation is still new for most of the Indians so I felt to cover this topic
Now Traveling using the Indian railway system will require reservations(unless you have decided to travel in second class where humans are treated like cattles, actually even worse). Bookings open months in advance(2 months) so you have more than enough time to reserve your ticket, however, it is important to book your reservations as far ahead of time as possible since trains are very busy and tend to get booked out weeks ahead of the scheduled travel time. (Summer time is just crazy time, I have seen waiting for 500 in Pushpak Express which connects mumbai to Lucknow!)
