As per the latest data released by TRAI (Telecom regulatory authority of India), the current number of phone users in India is 33.4 Crore. Just in the month of july, it has added 90 lakh new phone users.
Out of 33 Crore, around 29 crore are wireless subscribers including GSM, CDMA and WLL and the rest are land line users.
As far as broadband users are concerned, at the end of July, India has 47 Lakh Broadband users.
