My friend John (aka TechGuru) and ajit are working on a pretty cool concept, a website named Ekikrat where both (and one more person) are looking to answer real world Indian Questions, like the kind of things people ask in India. It can be either banking related or may be education related or anything else. The site is still very new so hard to say where exactly it will go but I am seeing few good articles there (like this one, how to apply for credit cards in India) and Passport Offices in India.
Anyway this post was supposed to be about something else and that is, Indias Best Colleges, specially engineering and Medical Colleges than you may like to check the following list (though not fully complete), Top Colleges in India, Engineering Colleges in India and ofcourse complete list of Colleges in India.
I wonders how much time they had spent on it 
Will keep an eye on the list as I can see a thing or two wrong there.
