In order to obtain a visa the first and foremost requirement is to have a valid passport, which is issued by Government of India from Passport Offices.为了取得签证的首要要求是一个有效的护照，这是政府所发出的印度护照办事处。 To obtain a passport, you can apply to any passport office in or near your city.获得护照，你可以适用于任何护照处或附近，你的城市。 It can take at least one month for you to get the passport.它可以至少需一个月，你得到护照。 If you want it fast, use express method which will cost you Rs 2000 (as compared to 1k for regular passport application)如果你想它快，快使用方法会使你2000卢比（作为比较的1k定期护照申请）
Once you have a valid passport, you are eligible to obtain a Visa to travel abroad.一旦你的有效护照，你有资格获得签证出国旅行。
There are various types of Visa's that is issued by the embassy or consulate of the respective country e.g.有各类签证的 ，是由大使馆或领事馆各自国家如 Tourist Visa, Students Visa, Business Visa etc. To apply for visa normally you need following:旅游签证，学生签证，商务签证等申请签证，通常你需要如下：
- Original and Valid passport (must be valid till you plan to stay in the country you are visiting).原和有效护照（必须有效，直至你打算留在该国，你来访） 。
- Two passport size photographs.两张护照大小的照片。
- Supporting documents, depending on the type of visa you are applying for.支持文件，这取决于类型，你的签证申请。

Student Via to study in USA, Australia or in Europe学生通过学习，在美国，澳大利亚或欧洲
- While applying for a student visa, you have to produce all required original documents to the consulate officials.而申请学生签证，你必须出示所有必需的原始文件，向领馆官员。
