In order to obtain a visa the first and foremost requirement is to have a valid passport, which is issued by Government of India from Passport Offices.為了取得簽證的首要要求是一個有效的護照，這是政府所發出的印度護照辦事處。 To obtain a passport, you can apply to any passport office in or near your city.獲得護照，你可以適用於任何護照處或附近，你的城市。 It can take at least one month for you to get the passport.它可以至少需一個月，你得到護照。 If you want it fast, use express method which will cost you Rs 2000 (as compared to 1k for regular passport application)如果你想它快，快使用方法會使你2000盧比（作為比較的1k定期護照申請）
Once you have a valid passport, you are eligible to obtain a Visa to travel abroad.一旦你的有效護照，你有資格獲得簽證出國旅行。
There are various types of Visa's that is issued by the embassy or consulate of the respective country e.g.有各類簽證的 ，是由大使館或領事館各自國家如 Tourist Visa, Students Visa, Business Visa etc. To apply for visa normally you need following:旅遊簽證，學生簽證，商務簽證等申請簽證，通常你需要如下：
- Original and Valid passport (must be valid till you plan to stay in the country you are visiting).原和有效護照（必須有效，直至你打算留在該國，你來訪） 。
- Two passport size photographs.兩張護照大小的照片。
- Supporting documents, depending on the type of visa you are applying for.支持文件，這取決於類型，你的簽證申請。
- Duly filled visa application form and receipt of visa fee paid填寫簽證申請表，並領取簽證費
Student Via to study in USA, Australia or in Europe學生通過學習，在美國，澳大利亞或歐洲
- While applying for a student visa, you have to produce all required original documents to the consulate officials.而申請學生簽證，你必須出示所有必需的原始文件，向領館官員。
- You have to show that you have enough funding sources available for your stay in USA and you will be able to pay your expenses during your stay in USA.你要證明你有足夠的資金來源供你留在美國，你將能夠支付你的費用在你留在美國。 You may show your parent’s employment details, bank statements, and sponsorship letters in case an institution or a company etc sponsors you.你可以顯示你的父母的就業細節，銀行報表，並贊助函的情況下的一個機構或公司等贊助你。
