PGIMER is considered as a very good hospital with more than 1400 beds and treats more than 50,000 thousand patients in various wards of the hospital, who come from all over the country. The hospital has modern diagnostic facilities, the Radio-diagnosis department of the hospital is considered as the modern and highly equipped department in India. Tata Memorial centere (TATA Memorial Hospital as it know popularly) is one of the leading cancer centers in Asia TME is treating and working for the prevention, treatment, education and research in Cancer. Hospital treats both in patients and out patients. There is a facility to register as a private patient or general patients, based on your financial strength. Hospital has a Medical Social Work Department and they can be contacted to get some financial assistance, but this facility is available only for general patients (those who are financially not very sound). The hospital has a well-stocked Dispensary and advisable for patients to buy medicines from there only. The hospital provides Inpatient and Outpatient Clinical Services. There is registration system for patients and the registration fee is Rs. 20 only. Patients referred by a doctor get preference in the Screening. Hospital deals with adult psychiatry, child & adolescent psychiatry, deaddiction centre, special clinics, geriatric clinic, obsessive-compulsive disorder clinic and perinatal psychiatric clinic.
