My friend John (aka TechGuru) and ajit are working on a pretty cool concept, a website named Ekikrat where both (and one more person) are looking to answer real world Indian Questions, like the kind of things people ask in India. It can be either banking related or may be education related or anything else. The site is still very new so hard to say where exactly it will go but I am seeing few good articles there (like this one, how to apply for credit cards in India) and Passport Offices in India.

Well with each passing year, the number of JEE and AIEEE Aspirants is sky rocketing (whats the current figure of AIEEE, 6 Lakh?)

The number of Colleges in AIEEE has also become very long with all these NITs and RECs and more private Colleges joining it. I am looking to write a BIG long post about all these exams so watch out for this Space

So being in office or college where Orkut is blocked ? so what you can do ? well you can always use web proxies to browse orkut. For example, you can check some of the orkut proxies here. I have not tested them so can not guarantee if they work or not but looks like, some proxies should work for orkut.

Ok, this is a small rant about indian web portals. Lets start with www.ndtv.com whos downtime is way too much for a premium portal. I mean can't they even take site to offline or static mode instead of giving all kind of vbscript errors ? than there is Rediff whose content is filled with ads only. Not to mention the unmoderated comments with flames don't give a better respite too. There are few new entrants like Ask Laila and Ekikrat who seems to be way too new in the market to give any competition at all to these oldies.

Just wondering will it ? I remember till last year they were talking about it crossing $100/barrel and now its looking to touch $150/barrel. In India, the oil prices are still stable but you never know as there are talks of increasing the prices by few "paisas"?

in some other not relevant news, Ness Vadia has been charged of using foul language against a punjab police officer in Punjab Kings X1 Match. So now other than cricketers, it seems everyone is trying his best to be controversy happy.

Well the qualifying phase is almost over of Indian Premiere League and have to say, its hard to believe IPL covered 50+ matches in no time. In both print and digital media, there is only IPL and the events associating with it.

IF we look back,there were many skeptics for the format. People criticized it saying it won't get successful and raised fingers over players who opted to play for it. But now, after 5 weeks, they all have shut there mouth and everyone is praising like what a great thing it is doing to cricket. Funny world, huh ?

Well I remember 6 years back in to get jobs in Andhra Pradesh was like piece of cake. Now compared to that, its getting way too difficult now.Hyderabad has got way too crowded and just like bangalore, every 3rd person seems to be a Computer engineer. What do you think ?
