After the good response of his black magic horror file Phoonk Ram Gopal varma has said he would like to make Phoonk 2 as well. The sequel will have same stars and the story will start from where the first part had ended.

In an interview to NDTV, Ramu said that the idea for phoonk came while watching a TV program on black magic.

Phoonk despite getting thumbs down from critics and with no big stars has done reasonably well with 70% box office collection.
