So keeping the product reviews articles continued, after covering Broadband providers in India, this article is about various DVD players available in India. Now though I don't own a DVD player(I watch everything on my PC only, I even don't own a TV!)

All the manufacturers upgrade their DVD players with new features at regular intervals. Hence you need to check with the suppliers about the new features and the warranty, if the model becomes obsolete. These DVD players are low cost electronic gadgets and can not expect a life time service. Hence, it is recommended to buy one which you feel comfortable with brand name, features, price and service. I will highly advice you to also consult some friends who are having these DVD players and ask for their input instead of asking the shop owners who never give honest answers.

hey bro… does dvp3166 support XVID and H.264 formats? Also if i m inserting all format DVD ( like mpg, jpg , mp3 , divx etc burned into a dvd ) , whether this player will play such DVD ??

My pick for top brand of DVD player is Sony.
By the way, a DVD player for the kids is a must if you’re going on a long trip in the car.
