First of all do not try to compare both of them. They are two different films in two different genres. One is the classic of Indian cinema which immortalized the character whether small blind moulabi or the horse “Dhanno” to the biggies like Veru, Jai, Thakur, Gabbar. The new one may not make the names immortal but it has something to offer.
Babban (Amitabh Bachchan) is the ruthless, psycho criminal who had an empire of evil. Against him inspector Narsimha (Mohanlal) was like a wall to prevent his evilness from spreading. Inspector Narsimha was given such a scar by Babban for which he wanted Babban dead. Now, inspector Narsimha hires two goons Heero [Ajay Devgan] and Raj [Prashant Raj] for revenge.
The love of their lives was waiting for them. Heero found Ghunghroo (Nisha Kothari) and Raj met Durga (Sushmita Sen). Two different love stories but the main subject is same- Love.
A battle starts between the evil and the good. The good side includes inspector Narsimha, Heero and Raj. The heavy evil side included Babban and his aide Tambhe (Sushant Singh). It is a battle for revenge, which has no rule, and no mercy, which finishes with the end of one side.
The famous 'Mehbooba' song is present here also. Now see Urmila Matondkar dancing to the tune of Mehbooba.
